Harding Traffic's Curve Warning Sign is an NZTA P32-compliant Early Warning System (EWS) designed to enhance road safety by alerting drivers to upcoming bends. Equipped with high-intensity LEDs and an inbuilt radar sensor, the sign detects vehicle speeds and displays a directional curved arrow. If a vehicle exceeds the programmed speed threshold, it automatically prompts the driver to "SLOW DOWN," encouraging reduced speeds and improved driver behavior. This proactive approach creates a safer environment for all road users, including cyclists and pedestrians. Constructed with a durable aluminum cabinet featuring a powder-coated black front and aircraft grey sides and rear, the sign measures 800mm in width, 1200mm in height, and 150mm in depth, weighing 38kg without batteries. It offers flexible power options, including 12 VDC solar power or 230 VAC mains power, and boasts an IP56 enclosure rating, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The integrated radar operates at a frequency of 24.15GHz, accurately detecting vehicle speeds ranging from 5 to 350 km/h within a 100-meter range.
