Harding Traffic's Mobile Speed Unit (MSU) is a custom-designed, trolley-mounted Speed Indication Device (SID) that combines the full functionality of a standard SID with enhanced portability. This compact unit is ideal for environments such as large warehouses, manufacturing plants, industrial sites, depots, and car parks where controlling vehicle speed is crucial. Unlike fixed pole-mounted SIDs, the MSU can be easily relocated, reducing costs and maintaining its effectiveness across various locations. The unit features two programmable speed thresholds—a lower and an upper limit. Upon detecting a vehicle, it displays the current speed; if the speed exceeds the upper limit, the sign prompts the driver to "SLOW DOWN." Equipped with a "Your Speed" static sign, a 60W flexible solar panel, and a mains power socket for battery recharging, the MSU ensures continuous operation and adaptability to different site requirements.
